I just wanted to let you know that I LOVE the Rhine Maiden Series and am anxiously waiting for the next installment! I can’t wait for the birth of the new baby. Will this child maybe have some sort of powers right from the start? I just can’t wait to find out and enjoy all the trouble the characters get into. Thank you for a wonderful series and thank you for having the first book free. I bought all the other books after sampling the first.

Thank you so much for posting! It’s so great to hear from readers who enjoy my books. There will be more Rhine Maiden books and Piper’s little boy will play a part in them, but that’s all I’m going to say! If you enjoyed Piper’s antics, you will probably also enjoy “Food for Love” which will hopefully (fingers crossed) be coming out this month. It is in the final stages of formatting! I’ll be offering a free code to whoever would like to download the book from Smashwords and then be ready to leave me a positive review on Amazon.

I love your Rhine Maiden series. Alot of it sounds like my house minus all the supernatural creatures of couse. Any word on a new book coming out anytime soon?

Thank you so much for letting me know that you enjoyed the Rhine Maiden! It’s very encouraging to hear from readers. This year has been a really crazy one for me and I have not gotten in as much writing as I would like. We just moved into a new house and that whole process (purchase, fixing things, etc.) was insane and now unpacking is taking up all my time. I knew it would be awful, I just didn’t realize HOW awful it would be! Plus, I am now seven and half months pregnant with baby #8 and don’t have quite the energy I used to. Things are starting to settle down a bit (still quite a few boxes around!) and I’m hoping to have some “me time” and get back to the keyboard soon!

Thank you so much for taking the time to let me know that you enjoyed Piper! This last year has been pretty crazy for me and I’ve had to take a break from writing, but I do have some ideas for the next Rhine book as soon as things settle down a bit more. In the meantime, I recommend Jasper Fforde, Robin Hobb, Patricia Briggs, and anything by Jim Butcher. (I’m re-reading through the Dresden Files right now and loving them even more!) Or, you could try my twisted fairy tale trilogy, The Pernicious Princess. Let me know if you have any favorite series to recommend; I’m always looking for great new books to discover!
